BARBER'S STORY

πŸ˜…  While cutting hair, the Barber asked the Minister :-

*"Sir, What is this Swiss Bank issue?”*

Minister shouted,
*“Are you cutting my hair or conducting an inquiry?”*

Barber said:
*Sorry Sir, I just asked.*

Next day, while cutting the hair, he asked the Top Minister:

*“Sir, what is this Black money issue?’’*

Minister shouted, *‘’Why did you ask me this question?’’*

Barber said:
*‘’Sorry Sir, I just simply asked you’’*

Next day, CBI interrogated the Barber,

CBI Officer -
*‘’Are you an agent of Pakistan?’’*

Barber: *No Sir.*

CBI: *Are you an agent of the opposition party?*

Barber: *No Sir.*

CBI: *Are you anti National?*

Barber:  *For God's sake, No Sir. I am an innocent and simple Barbar.*

CBI  : *Then, while cutting the hair, why did you ask these VIP's about Swiss Bank & Black money issues?*

Barber:
*Sir, I do not know why, but when I ask about Swiss Bank or Black money, their hairs stand up straight; & that helps me to cut hair easily. That’s why I keep asking.* πŸ˜€πŸ˜‚πŸ€£

THE DONKEY & THE DEVIL

A donkey was tied to a tree. One night a ghost cut the rope and released the donkey

The donkey went and destroyed the crops in a farmer's land. Infuriated, the farmer's wife shot the donkey and killed it 😑

The donkey's owner πŸ₯Έ was devastated at the loss. In reply, he shot dead the farmer's wife

Angered by his wife's death, the farmer took a sickle πŸ—‘ and killed the donkey's owner.

The wife of the donkey's owner got so angry that she and her sons set the farmer's house on fire πŸ”₯

The farmer, looking at his house turned into ashes, went ahead and killed both the wife and children of that donkey's ownerπŸ₯Έ

Finally, when the farmer was full of regret, he asked the ghost as to why did it kill them all?

The ghost replied,

_"I killed nobody. I just released a donkey that was tied to a rope. It is all of you who released the devil within you which resulted into everything bad that happened."_

Today the media has become like the ghost. It keeps releasing donkeys on a daily basis. And people react and argue with each other, hurt each other, without even having a second thought.

In the end, the media dodges all responsibilities.

So, it's our responsibility not to react on every donkey🐴 released by media and preserve our relationship with our friends and relatives…

Tildy's Moment by O. Henry Story level 2 Audio book with subtitle Tildy's Moment is a short story written by O. Henry. A small family restaurant is not the most famous or posh place in the city. Most clients are people who need an inexpensive but tasty food. Large portions for hungry men. The restaurant owner personally works in the hall and accepts money from guests. There are also two waitresses working there: a tall and beautiful woman and a low, fat partner who looks like a gnome. Mostly men visit the restaurant. Certainly, they love the tall beautiful girl more. They enjoy talking to her and just watching. She is able to support any conversation and to be pleasant and sweet. The young girl often receives expensive gifts from the customers. Nobody pays attention to the short fat waitress. Men do not want to talk to her and, of course, do not give gifts. She is just a good waitress, but that is not enough.

LUCK by Mark Twain - full unabridged audiobook short story - Fab Audio Books. "Luck" is an 1886 short story by Mark Twain which was first published in 1891 in Harper's Magazine. It was subsequently reprinted in 1892 in the anthology Merry Tales; the first British publication was in 1900, in the collection The Man That Corrupted Hadleyburg. The story concerns a decorated English military hero, Lord Arthur Scoresby, a total idiot who triumphs in life through good luck. At the time of the Crimean War Scoresby is a captain. Despite his complete incompetence, everyone misinterprets his performance, taking his blunders for military genius, and his reputation is enhanced with every false step he makes. At the climax of the story, Scoresby mistakes his right hand for his left and leads a charge in the wrong direction, surprising a Russian force which panics and causes a retreat of the Russian army, thus securing an Allied victory. Another interpretation of the story is that the Reverend is simply jealous of the successes Scoresby has achieved. The Reverend, in the past, was an instructor at a military academy, where he taught a young Scoresby. According to the Reverend, Scoresby was a poor student, and "blundered" his way through promotions. When the war began, the Reverend joined the conflict, but with a lower rank of his ex-student. Throughout the story one can see that the Reverend is bitter, and his apparent distaste for the lord seems at odds with his role as a clergyman. The "absolute fool" in the story is not Scoresby, who ascended the ranks of the military through action, but rather the Reverend, who cannot accomplish anything in his lifetime. Stay Connected to Family and Friends

A bus full of passengers was traveling while. suddenly the weather changed and there was a huge downpour and lightening all around.

They could see that the lightening would appear to come towards the bus and then go elsewhere.

After 2 or 3 horrible instances of being saved from lightening, the driver stopped the bus about fifty feet away from a tree and said -

"We have somebody in the bus whose death is a certainty today."

Because of that person everybody else will also get killed today.

Now listen carefully what I am saying ..

I want each person to come out of bus one by one and touch the tree trunk and come back.

Whom so ever death is certain will get caught up by the lightening and will die & everybody else will be saved".

They had to force the 1st person to go and touch the tree and come back.

He reluctantly got down from the bus and went and touched the tree.

His heart leaped with joy when nothing happened and he was still alive.

This continued for rest of the passengers who were all relieved when they touched the tree and nothing happened.

When the last passenger's turn came, everybody looked at him with accusing eyes.

That passenger was very afraid and reluctant since he was the only one left.

Everybody forced him to get down and go and touch the tree.

With a 100% fear of death in mind, the last passenger walked to the tree and touched it.

There was a huge sound of thunder and the lightening came down and hit the bus - yes the lightening hit the bus, and killed each and every passenger inside the bus.

It was because of the presence of this last passenger that, earlier, the entire bus was safe and the lightening could not strike the bus.

LIFE LEARNING from this..

At times, we try to take credit for our present achievements, but this could also be because of a person right next to us.

Look around you - Probably someone is there around you, in the form of Your Parents, Your Spouse, Your Children, Your Siblings, Your friends, etc, who are saving you from harm..!

Think About it..

You will surely find that Person..!!
